Have been a few times now, the butter chicken is consistently good ! Haven’t tried any of the other options as I can’t take a lot of chill and spice. A concern is the temperature of the food when dining in, I feel it should be served a lot hotter from the bain marie. My last visit was takeaway so I could warm it up at home to my liking. Overall a flavoursome and mild curry pleasing to my palate. Atmosphere in the Malaga market is as expected in a food court, can’t ever be a 5 star rating ! No fault of the Curry House venue.

Malaga Markets for lunch tried Phil’s Curry - Delicious full of flavour loved the eggplant curry dish and butter chicken was a hit for the child that doesn’t like too much heat. Beef curry had lots of flavour, good amount of spice for medium heat. Fresh and delicious! Beef samosa yummy.

Ace “food court” style outlet. All ready prepared but delicious. Ladies were kind enough to heat up the chapatis for me. Convenient, inexpensive and lots of seating in the court area. Enjoy.

Located in the Food Court of Malaga Markets, this little gem has been rediscovered by me. Originally in the food court of Subiaco Markets in the 1990's till the Markets were closed down, the next time I came across Phil was when he owned Curry Affair in Malaga. He sold that a few years back and is now here. The food is very good, Why? Because you can actually taste all the curries individually and not just have mouthfuls of spicy hot each time. Choose the 2 meat & 2 veg set to share. The Beef Vindaloo was tender & the "spiciest" but still most enjoyable. The Goat Curry was flavourful and moreish. The vegetables selected were an okra fry up that was buttery and a potato curry that was spiced enough to hold its own. The Masala Dosa was heavenly with a crunch and the accompanying Dahl, vegetable sabar and coconut chutney just made it all very delicious. Portions are huge and great value for money. The above two dishes could have fed three persons sharing.
